Services

Tax preparation services from IPROTAX

Individual, self-employed, rental, and business returns prepared by a tax professional using CrossLink tax-preparation software.

Individual tax preparation

Federal and state income-tax returns for individuals, couples, and families. We review your filing status, dependents, credits, and deductions based on the information and documents you submit through TaxPass.

Self-employed and Schedule C returns

Returns for sole proprietors, independent contractors, gig workers, and single-member LLCs. We report business income and deductible expenses, including mileage, home-office, and equipment items supported by your records.

Rental-property returns

Schedule E reporting for residential and short-term rentals, including rental income, operating expenses, repairs, and depreciation.

Partnership and S-corporation services

Form 1065 and Form 1120-S preparation with Schedule K-1 reporting for partners and shareholders, coordinated with owners' individual returns when requested.

Prior-year returns

Preparation of unfiled returns from earlier tax years. Prior-year filings require the income documents and records for each year involved.

Amended returns

Form 1040-X and state amendments when a filed return needs to be corrected for missed income, credits, deductions, or filing-status changes.

IRS and state notices

Review of IRS and Washington-related notices, explanation of what the notice is asking for, and preparation of an appropriate written response.

Remote tax preparation

Complete your return without visiting an office. You submit your information and documents through CrossLink TaxPass, and your IPROTAX preparer follows up by email or phone.

Ready to begin?

Fees depend on the forms and schedules your return requires. Contact IPROTAX with questions, or start your return through the secure TaxPass page.

New clients and returning clients who did not use IPROTAX for the immediately preceding tax year must pay a nonrefundable deposit before services begin. The deposit is $100 for an individual tax return and $250 for a business tax return. If you miss filing with IPROTAX for one tax year, the applicable deposit will be required when you return.

A sole proprietor whose business activity is reported on Schedule C of Form 1040 remains an individual tax-return client and pays the $100 deposit. A separately filed business return—including Forms 1065, 1120, or 1120-S—requires the $250 business deposit.

If you need both an individual return and a separate business return, do not pay both deposits through the website. Contact IPROTAX so the correct deposit can be confirmed.

The deposit is applied toward the applicable tax-preparation fee. It is nonrefundable and does not guarantee a refund, filing outcome, completion date, or acceptance of a tax return by any taxing authority.

Already working with IPROTAX and need to pay a service fee?

If IPROTAX has confirmed the amount you owe for a tax-preparation service, you can pay that service fee through PayKah.

Use PayKah to pay an IPROTAX service fee after IPROTAX has confirmed the amount you owe.

This payment option is for an IPROTAX service amount that has already been confirmed. New clients should use the appropriate deposit option in the Client Portal.

Continuing to PayKah does not by itself confirm payment. IPROTAX separately verifies every service-fee payment with PayKah. Paying a service fee does not mean your tax return has been completed or filed.
