Draft for IPROTAX review.

Business draft. This document is a working draft prepared for IPROTAX and requires final review and approval by IPROTAX before public launch. It is not legal advice.

Acceptance

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Informational purpose only

The content on this website is general information about IPROTAX services. It is not tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice, and it does not create a preparer-client relationship. Advice is provided only through an engagement with IPROTAX for a specific tax matter.

No filing until authorized

Submitting information through CrossLink TaxPass does not file a tax return. A return is prepared by an IPROTAX tax professional and is electronically filed only after you review the completed return, sign it, and authorize filing.

Client responsibilities

You are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and truthful information and documents. IPROTAX relies on what you submit and does not audit or independently verify your records unless separately engaged to do so. Inaccurate or incomplete information may result in filing errors, delays, additional fees, or taxing-authority notices.

Third-party services

CrossLink TaxPass and other linked third-party services are operated independently of IPROTAX and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. IPROTAX does not control and is not responsible for third-party services, but selects them for use in its professional workflow.

Fees and deposits

New clients and returning clients who did not use IPROTAX for the immediately preceding tax year must pay a nonrefundable deposit before services begin. The deposit is $100 for an individual tax return and $250 for a business tax return. If you miss filing with IPROTAX for one tax year, the applicable deposit will be required when you return.

A sole proprietor whose business activity is reported on Schedule C of Form 1040 remains an individual tax-return client and pays the $100 deposit. A separately filed business return—including Forms 1065, 1120, or 1120-S—requires the $250 business deposit.

If you need both an individual return and a separate business return, do not pay both deposits through the website. Contact IPROTAX so the correct deposit can be confirmed.

The deposit is applied toward the applicable tax-preparation fee. It is nonrefundable and does not guarantee a refund, filing outcome, completion date, or acceptance of a tax return by any taxing authority. The deposit is not the complete fee; tax-preparation fees depend on the forms and schedules a return requires, as described in the Deposit Policy.

A separate Pay-for-Service option lets you pay a confirmed IPROTAX service fee through PayKah after IPROTAX has confirmed the amount you owe. This service-fee payment is separate from the individual and business deposits and does not replace them. Paying a service fee does not mean your tax return has been completed or filed, and does not guarantee a refund, credit, outcome, processing time, or acceptance. Returning from PayKah does not by itself confirm payment; IPROTAX verifies every service-fee payment separately with PayKah.
